A fact that not many know about the actress is that she loved music as a little girl, and could play the trumpet, the french horn and the piano!

Holly has undergone a lot in her personal life, having lost her father in 1982, and getting divorced after six years of marriage. However, she doesn’t talk about any of that, saying that for her, ‘Privacy is paradise’.

Well, today I felt a certain kind of special connect with one of the television series, which eventually became my favorite because of one reason or the other.

While I was searching for a television series to watch, I stopped my search at Saving Grace! You know what; I realized a certain peculiarity about this series, owing to its distinct storyline and treatment. And of course, I am not flawed in my judgment either.

The way the creator of the show, Nancy Miller, has tried to raise a sense of faith amongst the viewers, no other show has endeavored that!

The series, which commenced in the year 2007, and wrapped its production in the year 2010, didn’t go unnoticed.

The lead of the series, Holly Hunter, was nominated many a times for several awards like Emmys, Golden Globe, and the Screen Actors Guild Awards for her outstanding performance on the series.

Holly portrayed the role of Grace Hanadarko, a spoilt Oklahoma City police detective, who is often over-drunk and is a chain smoker too. She gets along with men casually, often ending in one-night stands.

It is only after the fatal accident in which Grace killed a pedestrian under the spell of alcohol, that she came across an angel named Earl, who paved for her, a path towards sanity.

The narratives of the incidents in the series will surely make anyone realize the authenticity of the truth that though God exists, it is indeed difficult to retain one’s trust in him.

Bailey Chase, the well-known actor from the hit television series Saving Grace, has more to offer than just his distinct performing abilities.

We heard that the actor is highly passionate about golfing, and recently participated in a Celebrity Golf Tournament at the Robinson Ranch Golf Club.

This is the second time this tournament is being hosted by Gentle Barn, and it was attended by other renowned celebrities like Kevin Farley, Michael Pena, Jim Parrack, Danny Masterson, and Gary Valentine.

The venue remains a hot favorite for Bailey, with its lush green Southern California surroundings, and a cause to raise funds for a non-commercial animal sanctuary.

For fans, which have already started imagining their hero Bailey, teeing off in the exotic courses of Southern California, catch Saving Grace episodes, for it would make it easier to fit him in your mental golf course!

The auspicious event was joined by 80 professional golfers, along with the celebrities. It all started off with a shot from a shotgun, and the tiring hours at the golf course were followed by a gourmet dinner and an exquisite award ceremony, including prizes on lottery and auctions.

The much celebrated tournament for the animal sanctuary, The Gentle Barn, started off with a photo session with the special guests Madonna and Holy, and reached the peaks of fun and frolic with the ‘Hole-in-One’ contest, that had a car for prize!

Bailey is said to have known this sanctuary, The Gentle Barn, ever since it came into being in 1999, as an institution for recovery and cure of abused kids and animals.

The tournament, sponsored by corporate giants like Post Insurance Services, Callaway, Roger Dunn Golf Shops, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show, raised $34,000 for funding programs of this institution!

Befriending a Secret Agent is not only fraught with danger; it is also replete with numerous crest falls at every step.

Some brave men don’t seem to be bothered with this inkling, and believe in taking everything in their audacious stride.

Tune-in to Saving Grace episodes and witness Leon (Bokeem Woodbine), an inmate who finally faces the gallows, perhaps, his pre-decided fate.

His stint on the crime-drama might have come to an end in the second season of the show, but his tryst with stellar roles hasn’t. Bokeem would soon be seen in the upcoming movie, Total Recall, from the aegis of the Sony, co-starring Colin Farrell.

It’s is certainly a remake of the Arnold’s famous film of 1990 that hit the screens, creating quite a rage.

Bokeem would be playing the part of a man, who has an excellent camaraderie with the protagonist Quaid, and aides him in every possible way, making him feel like an elder brother. Quaid is fraught with the delusion that makes him think he’s a secret agent, putting up a brave front on the Martian colony.

Well Bokeem, we would certainly be keen to behold you in the ‘elderly bro’ act, for ancillary characters often steal the show, and we hope that this stint turns out to be fruitful to you!

Holly Hunter! Yes the actress with talent sent from heaven is all in the mood to weave some tragedies– William Shakespeare style!

Yes, you heard me correct!

Now, Shakespeare weaved quite a hefty number of tragedies. So, which one are we speaking of here?

When it comes to this woman, she settles for nothing but the best. So if she’s weaving it, it’s got to be the one that was his best!

You guessed it right! Its Romeo and Juliet (her upcoming movie)!

Now what her role is going to be and how she is preparing to play it is still a mystery… or should I say, is still a mystery to me (sorry I am a lazy bum, couldn’t find much dope on it!).

But one thing that is for sure is that she has been cast in the movie, and she is all gay and happy about it!

Let me tell you something else as well… the cast for the movie also includes Douglas Booth and Ed Westwick!

Sure it is!

The woman who used to grace Saving Grace episodes (Holly) is now going places…well, she has been going places from quite some time. No wonder she is such a hit and in-demand actress when it comes to roping in stars for epics.

Whatever her role is, one thing that I can guarantee is that it is going to be played in as perfect a manner as there is.

From a drunkard and wanton detective Grace Hanadarko in Saving Grace, to a generous mother in the forthcoming movie ‘Still I Rise’, The Academy Award winner Holly Hunter seems to be on a high tide!

After being enthralled by her spoiled yet charismatic character in Saving Grace, her fans are ready to be arrested by Holly’s upcoming appearance in the movie ‘Still I Rise.’

The 53-year old young-at-heart actress will be accompanied by Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis in this film.

Earlier, there were speculations that Holly Hunter might get a chance to display her skills in the movie. But now, she has been confirmed as one of the actresses.

This movie is about being socially active and serving humankind, in any way that you want to (which the protagonists in the flick precisely do).
Well, congrats Holly! You are worth it!

But, the news doesn’t culminate here friends. The add-on is that she is in negotiations with Carlo Carlei for his new-fangled version of cult-classic, Romeo and Juliet.

The film sounds very exciting, and I would definitely like to check out if it has scaled any new humorous gory heights!

‘Miss Nobody’ is a fairy tale kind of a story wherein the director has tried to pay homage to ‘Amelie’ type of filmmaking. So, we have the familiar lightness of touch despite the heavy subject(s)!
