Season two- Review
Saturday, August 30th, 2008Although, the second season have not shown up with all of the episodes and it went on hiatus in the mid way, but still I enjoyed the second season a lot. I liked it much because the first season had left us with many questions. Grace had found the person, who had molested her in childhood. Whether she succeeded in getting hold on him or he absconded? And as it was expected, the creators answered well to these questions in the very first episode of the second season.
There was lot much buzz over this cliffhanger after the season one. But finally the show got a sound grip over viewers’ anger. In the first episode ‘Have a Seat Earl’ lot many new things happened and the story took a new turn. In the beginning of the episode she is on leave, she encounters a carjacker and after a long chase, he falls off a bridge and dies. After this she returns home and it is shown that she has kidnapped Father Murphy, who molested her and she has confined him at her home. Finally she gets the justice, and while he is released on a bail, is being killed in the streets. In the same episode, Internal Affairs department conducts an enquiry about her drinking problems and it’s affects on investigations.

In the same episode, she also faced allegation of a murder by a woman, who tells that she is friend of her late sister and Grace is responsible for her death. In the second episode, Clay confronts with Grace for having an affair with a married man, Ham, as he learns about the recent night stand of both.
In the rest of the episodes she faces strange murder cases and her hustle tussle goes on. In the episode, ‘A Little Hometown Love’, she and Cooley start seeing each other in their dreams, she discusses the thing with Rhetta and she is smoldering to know about the motive of Earl behind doing this.
In this season, Ham loses his brother in Iraq and he is so devastated due to his death that he develops a distance with Grace and eventually ends up in hospitalization. There are many more interesting things in this season. Watch up.
